2 1/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbs orange zest (approx. 2 oranges)
1 cup white chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375.
Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars.
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Gradually add the flour mixture and stir until combined.
Stir in the zest and white chocolate chips.
Drop rounded teaspoons onto un-greased cookie sheets.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Cool for several minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to wire racks.
